The Hair Salon is a family-run hairdressing and beauty business based at 43–45 Worrall Road in the heart of Wadsley, Sheffield. Since opening our doors over 27 years ago, we have grown into one of Sheffield’s most trusted and well-established salons.

Our team brings together decades of combined experience and a shared passion for the craft. We are accredited Wella Professionals specialists, holders of the Wella Master Colour Award, and proud to have earned over 50 industry qualifications between us. Meet The Team
Andrea
Master Stylist, Advanced cutting, Awarded colour and perming technician, styling & updos expert.
Andrea is a passionate hair stylist with over 38 years of experience in the industry and her true love is all things colour. As an awarded Wella Colour Expert, she is known for creating beautiful, personalised results that reflect each client’s individuality.
As the owner of the salon, Andrea brings a funky, creative edge to everything she does, blending expert knowledge with an artistic eye and a welcoming vibe. Her goal is to make every client feel confident, inspired, and completely themselves when they leave the chair.
Bobbie
Colour & straightening (technician) cutting & styling expert.
Bobbie has deep roots in the industry, coming from a long line of incredibly talented hairdressers. Growing up in the salon, he’s spent almost his entire life behind the scissor and comb. Deeply inspired by his parent’s passion and determination for hairdressing, he developed his skills in creative colour.
Training at the Wella academy and gaining the advanced cutting certificate from the Vidal Sassoon cutting school in London. 11 years later, he’s now assistant manager of The Hair Salon…aiming to sweep up the mantle as the new owner.
Sophie
Balayage, colour expert and extensionist.
Sophie specialises as a colour technician with over 10 years experience. She also has multiple extra qualifications in advanced colouring techniques. She is particularly skilled in creating naturally blended balayages, polished blow dries and styled curls.
Sophie takes time to understand a clients desires and will give honest advice on what is achievable and what is best suited to their hair, ensuring a style that a client can maintain.
Alisha
Skin expert and aesthetician
Alisha has been in the beauty industry for 10 years now. She’s fascinated by skin health and aesthetics (you may have seen the collection of certificates in the clinic – she loves to learn something new!)
Alisha is fully educated when creating personalised treatment plans to help her clients feel confident in their skin.
Whether you’re trying to target a skin concern, maintain your skin glow or are after a tweakment or two, Alisha is happy to help.
Sims
Top tier receptionist and keratin Hair extensionist expert 25 years experience .
The receptionist who brings life and laughs to the salon. His coffee-making skills are a solid 10/10, A natural storyteller, Sims is known for sharing the most random conversations, but that’s all part of his charm and why everyone loves him.
Also is proudly awarded by Great Lengths Hair extensions for Keratin bonds and has 25 years in this sector.
Oh, and fun fact.. he also happens to be the husband of the salon owner.
